How old do I have to be to play? (18+ only)

SportUP competitions are adults only. All players must be 18 or over before their first game with us. This applies to every player on the court, including subs and fill-ins, and we can't make exceptions, even with a parent's permission.

Turning 18 soon? You are very welcome to join us once you have turned 18. Your first game just needs to be after your 18th birthday, so keep an eye on upcoming seasons and book in once you are eligible.

Under 18 and keen to play? There are some great junior options:

• Netball, ages 5 to 10: the Woolworths NetSetGO program: https://qld.netball.com.au/woolworths-netsetgo
• Netball, ages 11 to 17: find a junior club or competition near you with Netball Queensland's club finder: https://qld.netball.com.au/play
• Other sports: your sport's state body (Basketball Queensland, Football Queensland, Volleyball Queensland) runs junior competitions and can point you to a local club.
