How does the Points Table Work?

We play a 12-round season with no finals. The team on top of the table after round 12 is crowned Champion, and the team voted Most Social wins prizes too.

How do teams earn points?

Same in every sport:

• Win: 3 points
• Draw: 1 point
• Loss: 0 points

What happens with forfeits and byes?

Your team gets the 3 points plus a walkover win. The scoreline depends on the sport: 10-0 in netball, 20-0 in basketball, 5-0 in soccer and 2-0 in volleyball.

If a game is abandoned, the result is decided on a fault basis. One team at fault means the opposition gets the walkover win. Both teams at fault means no points for anyone.

What about teams that join mid-season?

Late-joining teams are given points that place them mid-table, so they are not doomed to last place before their first game.

What if teams are tied?

Table positions are decided by overall points difference, then by points scored.
