Why doesn't SportUP offer insurance?

Honestly, because you get a better deal through your own cover.

Why not a club policy?

A club-wide policy would insure you for the whole year rather than just your season, which pushes up rego prices for everyone. And blanket policies only provide very limited cover, like a small discount on your first few physio visits.

What should I do instead?

If you do not have a Medicare card or private health cover, we recommend taking out a personal accident or injury policy.

Why recommend cover at all?

SportUP works hard to make game nights safe, but sport is sport and accidents happen. Know what you are covered for before you play.
